Research and development program to develop technology to design a large parafoil suitable for precision guided delivery of heavy loads, within the frame of an R&D Multinational Consortium from the European Union.

Scaled prototypes designed and manufactured by CIMSA Ingenieria de Sistemas were tested by specialist jumpers and in large low speed wind tunnel. Both jump tests and wind tunnel tests were conducted in order to validate the design works, prior to manufacturing the real size parafoil and performing flight tests. The full size system was dropped successfully to complete the project objectives.
